Brian is an Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management at the Eli Broad College of Business, Michigan State University. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering Systems from the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a PhD in Business Administration from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Michigan. He has over 20 years experience as on Operations Management practitioner, mainly as a manufacturing manager in the primary metals and automotive assembly industries.
