MBA Dual Degrees

Broad is committed to preparing you to lead the process of change in the global marketplace. Recognizing the complexity of business today, we support MBA students with multi-disciplinary interests beyond the scope of the concentrations in the areas of law and international business. Two MBA dual degree programs are available for those with particular interest in these areas.

  • JD/MBA Degrees
  • Masters of Global Management / MBA Degrees

Law & Business

You will be equipped to assume a leadership role in business and the law through our four-year joint program with Michigan State University's College of Law. Leading to JD and MBA degrees, 12 credits from each program count toward electives for the other, shortening the timeframe required to earn both.

Global Management

If International Business is of interest to you, Broad's dual degree program with Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, Arizona, offers students both a Masters of Global Management from Thunderbird and an MBA from Michigan State University.

Students who participate usually start their studies in the Broad MBA program and then complete their degree requirements at Thunderbird, with specialization in international course work.

You must apply to and be accepted by both programs, as well as complete a minimum of 45 semester hours at MSU and a minimum of 30 trimester hours at Thunderbird (additional hours are required at Thunderbird if you aren't fully fluent in two languages), and you must pay tuition separately to each school for the number of credits taken.
