Families
About 30 percent of our students are married, have children, or have a significant other. If you're among them, the support of your loved ones and your ability to balance your program and personal commitments are integral to your success here. Central to Broad is "family" and "community." We want your spouse or significant other to feel welcomed as a part of our family and be involved with the program on a day-to-day basis. We're committed to helping you get the most out of your two years with us, during and after hours.
S3 Association (Spartan Spouses & Significant Others)
For couples and families, Spartan Spouses and Significant Others (S3) helps make your MBA program smoother and more enjoyable. Founded in 2000, S3 provides social activities, support, and peer networking for students and their spouses or significant others. It's a great way for you to meet friends who share things in common with you, hang out together, and support each other. Many of our graduates maintain lifelong connections with one another.
Broad MBA families enjoy MSU's family feel and its abundant, affordable indoor and outdoor activities. Beyond the events we host throughout the year—football tailgate parties, canoeing, zoo trips, holiday activities, shopping trips, theater performances, and more—there is an array of things to do on the campus itself—from spending the day at the Children's Garden to enjoying handmade Dairy Store ice cream to strolling one of the country's most beautiful campuses.
