Broad Team Takes 3rd Place in 13th Intl. Operations Case Competition
Broad Team takes 3rd place in the Prestigious 13th Annual International Operations Case Competition held at the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University on Nov 7-8, 2008. Top-tier schools from the US and abroad were invited to compete, and the teams were judged by experts from industry, government and academia on the quality of their analysis, professionalism of the presentation, and the team's responsiveness to the judges' questions and comments.
The Broad team was placed 3rd, behind MIT and Cornell, and ahead of top schools such as Ross (University of Michigan), Fuqua (Duke University), Darden (University of Virginia), Kelley (Indiana University), and Carnegie Mellon itself. It was a great learning experience for the participants, and the team certainly represented Broad program very well.
The team was comprised of the following first-year students:
