Welcome to the Broad Graduate School of Management. In the Broad School, doctoral education is at the very core of our mission to create and disseminate knowledge. Our PhD programs are designed to provide the vision, expertise, and training necessary for you to be a successful scholar at a major research university. You will work with faculty who are leaders in their fields and whose research is making a difference for executives and managers in the global business community. The Broad School offers seven PhD programs: accounting, finance, information technology management, logistics, management, marketing, and operations & sourcing management. These programs will prepare you to conduct cutting-edge research and to convey effectively state-of-the-art knowledge to students and colleagues.
The learning environment in the Broad School is both collegial and supportive. Faculty serve as mentors and will include you in their research projects. Our experience is that excellent researchers are also effective teachers because they bring the excitement of exploration and discovery into the classroom. Many of our former students have become leading scholars and teachers in their chosen fields.
