Michigan State University announces online master’s degree in management, strategy, and leadership

Michigan State University’s Broad College of Business has launched a master of science in management, strategy, and leadership, available exclusively online. This newly designed degree teaches students how to become transformational leaders – from motivating individuals and mobilizing teams to making strategic decisions and implementing long-term plans. Enrollment is in progress, and classes start January 6, 2014.

Broad master's students discuss their work“Our internationally recognized faculty has designed this program to help students become more effective communicators, managers, leaders, and decision makers,” said Robert Wiseman, the Eli Broad Legacy Fellow of Management. “Unlike an MBA, which focuses on core disciplines such as accounting, marketing, finance, and operations, this degree hones in on the knowledge and skills necessary to lead and motivate people, improve a company’s competitive position, and create and execute organizational change.”

This new degree is the first the Broad College of Business has offered entirely online. Its 15 five-week courses can be completed in as little as 20 months. For more information, visit msuonline.com.
