A group of students enrolled in the Broad Honors Research Seminar (UGS200H-008) were honored for their presentations at the annual University Undergraduate Research and Arts Forum (UURAF) held April 8 at the MSU Union.

Abigail Andrejek (BA Finance ’18), Kelsey Cross (BA Finance ’18), Lauren Fish (BA Finance ’18), and Max Spampinato (BA Business Admitted ’19) won the best poster in the Business category for their research on “Creating a Successful Stock Portfolio When Investing Internationally.”

Garrett Chamberlain (BA Business Preference ’19) and Taylor Norris (BS Human Biology ’18) won the best oral presentation in the Business category for their discussion on “Novices in the Stock Market: An Emotion-Free Approach to Managing Stock Investment.”

The Broad Honors Research Seminar is a year-long research experience, open to 15 freshmen/sophomores of all majors, mentored by finance faculty Antoinette Tessmer and Kirt Butler.
