MS in Management, Strategy, and Leadership among Top 20 Online Business Degrees in Latest U.S. News Ranking

U.S. News & World Report’s 2017 ranking of the best online (non-MBA) graduate business programs, released today, ranked the Broad College of Business’ MS in Management, Strategy, and Leadership (MSMSL) no. 16—up 10 places from last year’s showing.

Within the ranking’s measures, the program made great bounds in its student engagement rank, going from no. 50 to no. 16 in this area.

This award-winning online graduate program has grown from its humble beginnings in 2014 with a 31-student cohort to more than 350 students currently enrolled in the 20-month program.

“We continually refine our online graduate offerings to ensure we are giving our students the tools they need to innovate and make business happen in their current workplaces, and to pursue their desired career trajectories,” said Glenn Omura, associate dean for MBA and professional master’s programs. “We are gratified to see this recognition of our students’ success and the measures we take to ensure it.”

The U.S. News ranking methodology evaluated the use of best practices in student engagement, faculty credentials and training, and student services and technology. It also assessed peer reputation and admissions selectivity.
