Broad College students eligible for scholarships being offered by a Metro Detroit company

Shelving, Inc., a Madison Heights, Michigan-based second-generation family-owned provider of corporate and consumer shelving and storage solutions, is offering three scholarships at $1,500, $1,000 and $500 to students currently studying business-related fields at an accredited college or university within the U.S. or high school seniors currently enrolled (or planning to enroll) in college beginning no later than the Fall 2018 semester.

“We know the importance of higher education and the opportunities that come with earning a college degree, but we also know how expensive it can be. That’s why Shelving, Inc. is proud to invest in the next generation of business leaders by sponsoring this scholarship program. We’ve been tremendously lucky in years prior, having reviewed the inspiring stories of some of the brightest, most hardworking students who want to make a positive impact in their community and our economy,” said spokesperson Caleb Hoover.

Applicants must have a minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA and submit a copy of their transcript, along with a written essay. All students from the state of Michigan are highly encouraged to apply. Applications close on July 29 at 11:59 p.m. For more information on the scholarship or how to apply, visit www.shelving.com/scholarship.
