Hundreds of Broad College alumni share their time and talents to build sustainable connections for the college, current students, and other alumni. Take a look at this brief listing of volunteer opportunities, and then match your skills and interests to choose how you want to get involved.
With more than 20 business-focused clubs in the Broad College, opportunities to speak before student groups are plentiful. Student groups may be organized around an academic concentration such as accounting and information systems, finance, hospitality business, management, marketing, and supply chain management, where your industry experience will be valuable. Other groups are focused on special interest areas such as international business, non-profit management, entrepreneurship, multicultural business, and more.
From Chicago to China, Michigan State University Alumni Association (MSUAA) alumni clubs help make an unfamiliar place seem familiar and can connect people back to their alma mater. Since 2006, Broad alumni in more than 15 U.S. and international cities have formed Business Alumni Networks to facilitate business-focused networking opportunities, such as forums, dean and faculty receptions, alumni breakfast meetings, and so on.
