Join Us at ENGAGE 2016 Goa MSU Alumni Reunion

Visit Goa, India, February 25–28 for the fourth annual international ENGAGE conference and alumni reunion. Discuss how to “Empower Extraordinary” with conference topics including student and young alumni engagement, alumni enrichment, service, and philanthropy. The event is hosted by the MSU Alumni Club of India. Milind Agarwal (MBA ’94), the club’s national coordinator, serves as primary contact for the event.

Join other hospitality business graduates at the Fifth Annual Metro Detroit Alumni Networking Social Tuesday, February 9, 5:30 – 9:30 p.m. at Poole’s Tavern in Northville. Enjoy complimentary light hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar as you network and watch the Spartan men’s basketball team take on Purdue—tipoff is at 7 p.m. Donations to Destination Auction are requested as admission.

Destination Auction Celebrates 25th Anniversary

Join us for Destination Auction: Under the Big Top on Saturday, February 20, at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center. The silent auction starts at 5 p.m. and the live auction at 6 p.m. The event features a great variety of items—all generously donated by alumni and supporters. This annual charity auction raises funds for The School’s student Hospitality Association, its Alumni Association, and two local charities: the Junior League of Lansing and the MSUFCU Institute for Arts and Creativity at the Wharton Center.

Online MS Program Wins Excellence Award, Up Nearly 40 Places in U.S. News Ranking

The MS in Management, Strategy, and Leadership has been selected as a 2016 winner in the Leadership Excellence Awards, recognizing top leadership development programs, and recognized as a top 30 online graduate business program in U.S. News & World Report’s latest ranking. The program was ranked No. 26, up from No. 65 last year.
