Lear Corp. and its employees have committed more than $1.5 million to support the Business Pavilion. Lear, through the Lear Corp. Charitable Foundation, has pledged a 5-to-1 match for every dollar Lear employees give to the building project, and 101 employees have made contributions so far. To commemorate Lear’s generosity, the pavilion lobby will be named the Lear Corp. Lobby.
The 66th annual Les Gourmets will celebrate the theme “A Fork in the Road” by providing tastes of all corners of the U.S., with a special focus on Michigan. The event will be held Saturday, April 8, at Spartan Stadium’s Huntingdon Club, with a cocktail reception at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m. Tickets are available now!
MSU’s Grandparents University brings grandparents and their grandchildren (ages 8–12) together for a three-day, on-campus educational experience. Participants need not be MSU alumni. The 2017 program will take place Tuesday, June 27, to Thursday, June 29. Beginning at 10 a.m. today, March 15, participants can reserve spaces online and fill out the information packet. At 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, they will return to the Grandparents University website to select class sessions and complete registration.
The U.S. News & World Report 2018 Best Business Schools rankings named Broad no. 1 in graduate programs in supply chain/logistics, matching the no. 1 ranking it awarded Broad’s undergraduate programs in September. The Full-Time MBA program maintained its position among the top 15 U.S. public programs in the ranking.

On Sunday, March 12, 135 newly minted Executive MBA alumni celebrated their achievements at their commencement ceremony at the Wharton Center. Linda Blair (EMBA ’98), CEO and president of ITC Holdings, served as the guest commencement speaker.
