Michigan State University and the Broad College of Business have expanded their online certificate programs in business with a new master certificate in strategic change management.
The program consists of four eight-week online courses in topics such as strategic negotiation, team effectiveness, and change leadership. Participants learn to identify, initiate, and implement change, overcome change resistance, and motivate people to deliver optimum results.
“Economies, competitors, and market forces move faster than ever, and businesses must adapt to keep pace,” said David Frayer, director of executive development programs. “They need professionals throughout the organization who can manage change and communicate its impact and value to others.”
Enrollment for this noncredit course began December 17, with classes starting March 1, 2013.
The certificate joins other online certificate programs offered through the college’s relationship with University Alliance, including master certificates in strategic human resource management, strategic organizational leadership and management, supply chain management, and hospitality business.
