Alumni of Michigan State University’s Broad College of Business Full-Time MBA program ranked number one globally in percentage increase on pre-MBA salary, according to the Economist WhichMBA? 2016 ranking of full-time MBA programs, released today.

The Broad MBA is also ranked first in the U.S. and second globally in the ranking’s overall salary category, perhaps contributing to Broad’s student assessment of career services placing among the top 10 globally.

“We are greatly pleased to see our alumni achieving their goals as they continue on in their careers and being recognized for the great value they bring to their respective organizations,” said Cheri DeClercq, assistant dean for MBA programs. “We are very proud of how they make business happen around the world.”

The Broad Full-Time MBA’s overall Economist ranking is no. 8 among U.S. public schools, no. 24 among all U.S. programs, and no. 36 globally.

MSU’s Full-Time MBA has also ranked among the top 15 U.S. public programs in the other major MBA rankings: No. 8 in Forbes, No. 11 in Financial Times, No. 12 in Bloomberg Businessweek, and No. 14 in U.S. News & World Report.

The Economist full-time MBA ranking focuses predominantly on the educational experience students have and their career progression as a result of the degree, particularly in terms of salary. It is based on data provided by schools, current students, and alumni.
