Bloomberg Businessweek #1 recently released its 2010 biennial ranking of “The Best B-Schools,” placing the Broad College’s Full-Time MBA program at 20th overall and 7th among public universities. This is the highest MBA so Businessweek ranking ever for the Broad College. View full ranking.

It is clear that student satisfaction was a huge factor in the Broad College’s move into the top 20, up from a “Second-Tier” ranking in 2008. The Broad College placed 13th in the “Graduate Poll”, 32nd in wholesale NBA jerseys the “Corporate Poll” and 39th in “Intellectual Capital” – the three elements that to are the basis of this ranking. The graduate poll score is based on a satisfaction survey of the most recent graduates and is combined with two previous MBA survey scores. The corporate poll, which asks recruiters to identify the schools that produce the best graduates, is also combined with two previous recruiter surveys. Finally, the intellectual capital score reflects the number of faculty articles published in top 20 journals and reviews of their books in three national publications and is adjusted for faculty size. The MBA surveys and the recruiter polls each contribute 45% to the final ranking, with the intellectual-capital ranking contributing the final 10%.
