The Board of Trustees recognizes students for having the highest scholastic average, a 4.0 GPA, at the close of their last semester in attendance at Michigan State University.

For the spring 2020 semester, 91 students received the Board of Trustees Award. Eight of them are Broad Spartans:

  • Emily Chau of Zeeland. Chau is an accounting major and a member of the Honors College and attended Zeeland West High School.
  • Adam Hall of Canton. Hall is a finance major and attended Salem High School.
  • Josh Lange of Boyne City. Lange is a marketing major and a member of the Honors College and attended Boyne Falls Public School.
  • Nicholas Langley of East Lansing. Langley is a marketing major and attended Lakeland High School.
  • Daniel Lu of Bloomfield Hills. Lu is a finance major and a member of the Honors College and attended International Academy Bloomfield Hills.
  • Marcello Rea of Troy. Rea is a supply chain management major and a member of the Honors College and attended Brother Rice High School.
  • Jamil Rehemtulla of Plymouth. Rehemtulla is a supply chain management major and a member of the Honors College and attended Greenhills School.
  • James Wentzloff of Rochester. Wentzloff is an accounting major and attended Rochester Adams High School.
