East Lansing, Michigan – September 13, 2012 – The Native American Hispanic Business Students is hosting an Alumni Night to kick off its 2012-13 general membership meetings. Emmanuelle Martinez, a former executive board member and a current sales management associate for Pepsi Beverages Company will be speaking to students about his experiences in the marketing profession at 6:30 PM in N124 Business College Complex.

Multicultural Business Students, National Association of Black Accountants and Women in Business Students’ Association started the year strong with their kick off meetings hosted by Dr. Ernest Betts, Assistant Dean for Multicultural Business Programs, Eli Broad College of Business. He  shared with students the importance of developing a global mindset, learning from your peers from different cultures and networking for academic and career development purposes.

Over 200 students attended Multicultural Business Students’ first general membership meeting on September 10. General Motors will be presenting on “How to Make a Good Impression at Your First Interviewing” at the second general membership meeting on September 17 at 6:20 PM in N130 Business College Complex.

Over 125 students attend Women in Business Students’ Association’s first general membership meeting on September 5. Altria Distribution Group will be presenting on “Interviewing” on September 19 at 6:20 PM in N100 Business College Complex.

Over 50 students attended National Association of Black Accountants first general membership meeting on September 11th. Students took a moment of silence to remember the victims of the 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center, Pentagon and Pennsylvania. Ernst & Young will present on “Communication Skills” on September 25th at 6:15 PM in N100 Business College Complex.

Food and beverages are provided at all General Membership Meetings for participants.
