Ashish Patil, 2010 MSU MBA Graduate was in attendance at Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) Annual Conference 2011, October 2-5, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. and accepted the Supply Chain Innovation Award (SCIA) second place award on behalf of Motorola Mobility, Inc. The SCIA was established by CSCMP’s Research Strategies Committee and SupplyChainBrain to recognize a supply chain team’s outstanding innovations as demonstrated by quantifiable and sustainable cost-savings, revenue-generating, or customer-satisfaction achievements. Motorola was recognized for its innovative inclusion of key suppliers in its sales and operations planning (S&OP) process to better meet customer demand and improve supplier/customer relationships.
