Congratulations to six Financial Markets Institute students on being selected as 2016-17 Cosper Scholars. Receiving this distinguished recognition are Michael Booth, Thomas Chadwick, Greer Clausen, James McKillop, Michael Murri and Michael Shepard.
These awards are made possible through the generosity of David (BA,’77, MBA’78, Finance) and Pamela (BA,’78, Economics) Cosper who endowed a scholarship fund in honor of their son Thomas (BA,’07, Finance) who was instrumental in starting the institute and was a member of its first graduating class. The awardees were chosen in part based on their exemplification of five key traits that characterize the Cospers: high ethical standards, respect for all individuals, a natural curiosity, a propensity for action and a willingness to work hard to achieve one’s goals.
In addition to enjoying a relationship with the Cosper family, these students will share their expertise and passion for the financial markets with other Broad College students.
