  • Biography
    Ann brings a passion for empowering students to realize their full academic and professional potential through the development of critical competencies including leadership, teamwork, and communication. Co-curricular activities and engagement in student organizations are impactful environments for developing these skills. Ann’s work at MSU has emphasized the role of faculty advisor to a diverse array of student organizations. Through this role, Ann has empowered student leaders by helping them establish their organization's vision and goals, connecting them to essential resources, and fostering their success in managing their organizations. For her efforts, Ann has received the Eli Broad College of Business Richard J. Lewis Quality of Excellence Award and the MSU Student Life Walter Adams Advisor Award.

    Ann has served as an academic advisor for the interdisciplinary Experience Architecture program and for the Department of Art, Art History and Design, supporting faculty and students across two departments. Ann previously served as a Program Coordinator for the Multicultural Business Programs and Residential Business Community.

    Ann is actively engaged in the MSU community beyond her position responsibilities. She is the MSU Institutional Representative for the MI-ACE Women’s Network, is a member of the MSU Women of Color Community Planning Committee and is the content chair for the empowHER Girls’ Leadership Retreat.
