Alexander LaBrecque is a first-year doctoral candidate in the department of marketing at the Eli Broad Graduate School of Management at Michigan State University. His research interests include topics related to personal selling and sales management, customer relationship management, and employee productivity. Currently, Alexander is working on a project using text analytics to examine the use of appeals in crowdfunding.
Before pursuing a doctoral degree, Alexander earned a BA in Finance from Michigan State University, and a MS in Business Analytics (MSBA) at Michigan State University. During his MSBA program, Alexander interned with Deloitte Advisory Analytics Division and helped start the analytics team for the Michigan State Men's Ice Hockey Team.
