Tim Mehlberg
earned his B.S. in Hospitality Management from Ferris State University and his
M.S. in Restaurant, Hotel and Institutional Management from Texas Tech
University.
His
career experience started with general management positions with high volume
restaurant chains Magic Pan International and Good Earth Restaurant &
Bakery as well as several branded food and beverage concepts for Host International at Detroit
Metropolitan Airport. Tim spent 17 years
within the foodservice distribution channel in sales, sales support, product
marketing and brand development working for Gordon Food Service
and Performance Food Group. He also has foodservice
product development and product launch experience with poultry processor Perdue
Farms Inc.
Tim
spent 13 years as a hospitality management educator with The University of
Akron and is now proudly serving Michigan State University educating Hospitality
Business students in the Broad College of Business.
