Plan to join us! The premier annual dinner event in The School of Hospitality Business is Les Gourmets. Founded as a student organization in 1951, students in Les Gourmets produced their first dinner in 1955. Starting as a simple buffet and dinner dance, the event has since evolved into a formal world-class reception and dinner showcasing the talents of student volunteers and all they have learned from their professors and work experiences. With the guidance of faculty and guest chefs, the students work in all areas – management, sales, marketing, purchasing, finance, culinary management, bartending, and serving – creating a night to remember each spring for hundreds of proud parents, alumni, faculty/staff, and friends! Consider attending.
Doors open at 6 p.m. | Dinner served at 7 p.m.

The Executive MBA staff and alumni are hosting a business reception at Pop’s for Italian in Ferndale for prospective students. Join us to meet others in our community who are considering the Broad Executive MBA program. During the reception, we will discuss the value, experience, academics, and structure of the program.

Taking place in the Minskoff Pavilion Multi-Purpose Room on Tuesday, March 14 from 3:00pm-4:20pm EST! The event allows for you to build brand recognition, identify top talent, and provide your industry expertise and feedback to students. This is part of their BUS 100 course where they have received instruction on how to have effective conversations with employers.

This event will let you meet and recruit students from the comfort of your home, office, or anywhere you have internet access. We are excited for you to create meaningful connections among students who are ready to excel in a future new jobs or internship. During the fair, you will be able to chat in real-time with Michigan State students in the MS in Marketing Research and MS Business Data Science and Analytics programs. Students are seeking both current full time job opportunities and summer 2024 internship opportunities. Employers are welcome to offer video chat options for students seeking to connect with their company at the career fair as well.
