Analytics & Marketing Research Fall 2019 Career Fair

Every year, the MS in Marketing Research and MS Business Analytics programs at Michigan State University host an annual event that focuses on the growing field of marketing research, consumer insights, big data analytics, and how these fields are shaping the future. Events include a panel of employer experts, career fair, networking and access to admissions professionals regarding the master’s programs at MSU. The main panel speaker for 2019 will be Karyn Schoenbart, CEO of the NPD Group.

We encourage students to attend this event to find out more about the exciting fields of insights and analytics-both for career opportunities and/or as a learning opportunity of how it is changing the way we do business and the growing need for research & analytics professionals. Students from across campus and program levels will be in attendance (Example: MS Marketing Research, MS Business Analytics, MBA students, undergraduates focusing on statistics, marketing, economics, communication, psychology, social sciences, computer programming, actuarial science etc). Employers are encouraged to attend the event to recruit students for marketing research and/or business analytics opportunities within their company or organization.

Destination Auction: Explore the Wild Side

This event will be conducted in an online format. Details can be found on the Destination Auction web site. The catalog of Auction items will be available April 1 – 10, 2021. Auction bids will close promptly at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 10, 2021. 

Destination Auction is the premiere fundraising event for The School of Hospitality Business, the student Hospitality Association, and its Alumni Association. Destination Auction features spectacular individual travel and experience packages donated by alumni and other industry friends. This popular event draws hundreds of community members, alumni, students, and faculty, and helps fund a number of programs in The School of Hospitality Business. With a different theme each year, Auction is an exciting, colorful event, organized and led by students in partnership with School alumni.

This one day event at the MSU College of Law explores the complexities of protecting your intellectual property, while meeting industry regulations both nationally and internationally.  Join us as we discuss the challenges and solutions industry leaders have taken to address brand management and protection measures along at different stages of  the supply chain.

Unable to join us for the whole day?  Consider joining us for specific sessions.

Who should attend: Those involved in sourcing, manufacturing, sales and marketing, and anyone with a brand or product which they wish to protect.  This includes all types of intellectual property concerns.
