Save the dates: Eli Broad College of Business alumni can look forward to a pair of free alumni tailgates sponsored by the college during the upcoming Spartan football season.

alumniOpen to all Broad alums and their guests will be a Homecoming tailgate before the Northwestern game Oct. 6. The tailgate will begin at 10 a.m., two hours before kickoff, at Red Cedar Road just north of Shaw Lane.

Then, Full-Time MBA alumni and their guests are invited to a Full-Time MBA alumni tailgate beginning two hours before the Nov. 10 game against Ohio State. Kickoff time is to be determined. This event, exclusive to Full-Time MBA alums and their guests, is a part of Broad MBA Alumni Weekend events.

“We are very excited to welcome our Broad College alumni back to campus to help us cheer our Spartans to victory,” said Amy Moon, associate director of alumni relations for the Broad College. “Fall is always a great time to be at MSU, and we love seeing our alumni with each other and sharing their common love for their alma mater.”

“The energy it brings is thrilling,” Moon said. “Homecoming is such a fitting word for the way it feels. Go Green!”

While the events are free, preregistration is required. Details and an online registration link are pending for the October Broad tailgate. MBA alumni who are interested in attending MBA Reunion Weekend activities can get more information on the event Web page.

Tailgate attendees should bring with them their confirmation emails to the event. Updates will be posted to Broad College social media sites including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn as additional information becomes available. The Broad College social tag is @msubroadcollege.

The tailgate site – marked with the Broad banner, an inflatable Sparty, and MSU flags along Red Cedar Road, will feature food, drink, entertainment, and Broad-branded giveaway items.
