Launched in February 2022, the Center for Ethical and Socially Responsible Leadership’s mission is to create, curate, and nurture curricular content and co-curricular experiences that lay a strong foundation from which students develop a deep understanding of ethical conduct and socially responsible decision-making.
The Center will support research and scholarship that bridges theory and practice in ethics and social responsibility and establishes Broad College faculty as thought leaders on these issues. We will offer student centered programming that compliments what they are learning in the classroom so our students leave Michigan State University with a broader and deeper understanding of how they can be socially responsible and ethical leaders in their chosen field.
As we move forward all our efforts will fall into four main categories.
Interactive educational opportunities
Case Competitions
Ethics Certifications
Net Impact partnership
Research Grant
Teaching Grants
Seminar Series
Service-Learning opportunities
Social Responsibility focused projects
International Immersion
United Nations Sustainable Development Goal driven
Ethics Symposium
Webinars
Faculty/Staff Development

Learn MoreThe Corporate/Non-Profit Advisory Board is to help guide and shape the work and focus of the Center for Ethical and Socially Responsible Leadership. This board will do this by sharing their extensive experience, their exposure to issues around ethics and social responsibility within their industry and outside, and their ideas on social responsibility and leadership. They will be individuals who have an affinity for the Broad College of Business and/or Michigan State University and who want to help positively influence the next generation of Business leaders.
