PhD Programs

Our PhD programs are designed to provide you with the vision, expertise, and training necessary to be a successful scholar at a major research university. The Ph.D. Program in Accounting prepares students to become productive faculty members at top universities. We offer specializations in audit, financial accounting, managerial accounting, and tax.


Faculty expertise includes corporate and behavioral finance, contracting, and asset pricing. Through mentoring and joint research with faculty, students are trained for academic positions at leading research schools.

Business Information Systems

The ITM PhD program aims to train scholars who will produce rigorous and managerially relevant IS research.


Our program matches traditional areas of logistics research with faculty expertise in demand management/forecasting, logistics operations and modeling, logistics strategy, and relationship management.


With specializations in organizational behavior, strategic management, and human resources, the Management Ph.D. program trains students to become leading scholars at top research universities.


Explicitly focused on marketing strategy, the Marketing Ph.D. program trains researchers interested in topics such as brand and new product management, relationship marketing, and corporate strategy.

Operations and Sourcing Management

Focused on supply chain strategy (with an emphasis on operations management and sourcing), the OSM Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management trains researchers interested in managerially relevant topics in these areas.
