A few updates from SCMA:
Our Fall Trip is quickly approaching on November 9th-12th and we will be traveling to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania! 50 members have the opportunity to attend and network with three different great companies including General Motors, GE Transportation, and Owens Corning.
The SCMA Career Fair will be held on January 19th at the Breslin Student Events Center with interviews on the following day, January 20th, at the Huntington Club in Spartan Stadium. About 130 companies attend each year, resulting in approximately 1,500 interviews for internships, co-ops, and full time positions for students.
Every month, SCMA contributes to a different community service event. The executive board is participating in Safe Halloween at Riddle Elementary on October 28th. We will be decorating a table and handing out candy to students to ensure they have a chance to trick or treat in a secure environment.
