Principles of Veterinary Business Management

Success in today's veterinary environment requires more than exceptional clinical expertise. High-performing practices must also excel in leadership, financial management, operations, client relationships, compliance, and the effective use of technology.

The Principles of Veterinary Business Management program equips veterinary professionals with the practical business and leadership skills needed to help practices thrive. Drawing on the combined expertise of Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine and Broad College of Business, this program provides actionable strategies that can be immediately applied in veterinary clinics, hospitals, and practice settings.

Participants complete approximately one hour of self-paced online content each week, allowing them to learn at a time and pace that fits their schedule. Optional live online discussions provide opportunities to engage with instructors, collaborate with peers, discuss real-world challenges, and explore practical applications within veterinary practice settings.

This flexible format combines the convenience of online learning with direct access to experienced faculty and a network of veterinary professionals facing similar opportunities and challenges.
