Hosted in the Gaynor Entrepreneurship Lab, Innovate State welcomes successful Spartan alumni back to campus for a fireside chat. Guests share their perspectives on everything from launching start-ups to experiencing success and failure to building dynamic and nurturing work cultures.
About The Speaker
Melissa Mackey, or, āMackā, has been driving strategic growth, innovation, and positive brand perception for leading startups, corporations, nonprofits, and agencies for over 15 years. She is an entrepreneur. She also happens to have been a passionate intrapreneur within several Fortune 500 companies. Sheās a venture capitalist, a coach to entrepreneurs, a digital marketing executive, and a tech-enthusiast.
Today, Mack is the founder & CEO of LU Management, a firm specializing in helping professional athletes and their families accelerate their success in pursuing their entrepreneurial endeavors and securing venture capital investment.
Mack is a graduate of Michigan State University and has a Digital Marketing & Social Media Strategies diploma from Harvard Universityās Division of Continuing Education. She serves on the Michigan State University Foundationās Advisory Board.
