The Financial Markets Institute (FMI) is pleased to announce its second annual Women’s Panel discussion on Friday, Oct. 20, 2017, 3-4pm in N106 BCC. While primarily oriented for freshman and sophomore women interested in a career in financial services, any student (female or male) is welcome to attend. Our speakers include:

Allison Bratzel – Ally (BA Finance ’14) is an alumna of the FMI; she is an equity research analyst in biotechnology at Piper Jaffray in Chicago.

Angela Gorder – after beginning her career in tax accounting for Arthur Andersen, Angie (BA/MBA Professional Accounting ’98) has devoted her career since to the hedge fund industry. She is Managing Partner and Global Head of Business Development at Argentem Creek Partners in the Minneapolis metropolitan area.

Chrissy Svejnar – Chrissy (BA Finance ’03) is a Managing Director at Ares in New York where she is a member of the firm’s direct lending team. Prior to joining Ares, she held numerous positions at GE. Chrissy is a member of the executive committee of the FMI Advisory Board and is chairing the panel discussion.

Kim Van Cleef – Kim (BA Finance ’01) is Director of Business Development for BDO based in Detroit. She has extensive experience in investment banking, private equity, and restructuring at firms including William Blair, Cerberus, Alvarez & Marsal and Altus Capital. Kim is also a member of the FMI Advisory Board.
