Cindy Majeske

Cindy Majeske is the Associate Director of Michigan State University's International Business Center (IBC).  As the Director of the IBC, she manages the externally funded outreach and research center with diverse constituents including funding agencies, faculty, students, and the business community.  Specific responsibilities include:  serving as the principal administrator for fiscal and personnel matters, preparing budgets and monitoring expenditures, administering grant awards, coordinating contracts, and managing projects such as conference/seminar organization, international business research, and information technology initiatives. 

In addition, she prepares periodic activity reports, grant proposals, and budget analysis. She is also the Broad Research Manager, responsible for pre- and post-award support provided by MSU's Institute for Business Research.  In her IBR role, Cindy works as the lead Research Administrator for proposal submissions, coordinates award acceptance and account setup, setting up subaward contracts, and monitoring expenditures, Majeske has experience in project management, strategic plan implementation, and workflow development. As the Broad Research Manager, Cindy received the MSU Unit Research Administrator Spotlight Award in 2018 and was a co-recipient for the Lewis Quality of Excellence Award in 2021.

Cindy has a Master of Science in Strategy, Management and Leadership from MSU and a BA in Business Administration from Ashford University in Iowa.
