Dr. Siqi Pei is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Eli Broad College of Business, Michigan State University. Her research examines the digital economy, influencer marketing, automotive marketing, and human–AI interactions, with a broader interest in how emerging technologies shape consumer behavior, firm strategy, and social welfare. She employs large-scale field experiments and causal inference methods to generate rigorous, data-driven insights into the economic and behavioral impacts of technological innovation.
Her work has appeared in leading journals such as Information Systems Research and Management Science and has received multiple distinctions, including the WISE Best Paper Award. Beyond academic contributions, Dr. Pei collaborates with industry partners such as Nissan to study the real-world deployment of artificial intelligence.
