Stephen Schiestel is the Frederick S. Addy Endowed Professor of Practice in Finance at the Broad College of Business at Michigan State University. He received his MBA in 1998 from Michigan State University and a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Michigan-Flint in 1991. Schiestel teaches undergrad and grad students in Security Analysis, Valuation, Financial Planning and Wealth Management and Corporate Finance. He is the director of the College’s Financial Planning and Wealth Management programs - a minor and MS. He has won several teaching awards including the Executive MBA Professor of Excellence Award five times and the John D. and Dortha J. Withrow Distinguished Teaching Award. Prior to coming to Michigan State, Schiestel held management positions in the Wealth Management Division of Citizens Bank, now part of Huntington Bank.
