In this special episode of Broad Matters (formerly the Spartan BizCast), Shana and Ken explore interdisciplinary research as they welcome not one, but two guests to the podcast. Stanley Griffis, John H. McConnell Professor of Business Administration in the Department of Supply Chain Management at the Broad College of Business, and Meredith Gore, Associate Professor in the Department of Fisheries and Wildlife at Michigan State University, are collaborating on research to disrupt a massive supply chain: wildlife trafficking. This pair is striving to weaken the value stream of these illicit networks using social science tools and supply chain mapping.
