The Spartan Approach

We start with a conversation – one focused on understanding your organization, your people, your needs, your challenges. Whether your needs arise from formal assessments, economic pressures, or strategic priorities, we begin by identifying the key pain points and translating them into specific learning objectives and behavioral outcomes.

This is an iterative, collaborative process designed to align with both the company’s goals and the participants’ needs. The conversation frames the topics, target competency levels, and participant profiles – including their level of responsibility and location. This framing determines the group size and delivery format.

Finally, we develop a cost-effective solution tailored to your organization’s goals and timeline.

Let's Get Started

When selecting a format for your Custom Program, you have several flexible options – whether we’re starting from scratch or using a pre-existing Open Enrollment Program as a blueprint, we are here to help. Below you will find a breakdown of different ways to go about the process. Look over the options and let us know which one works best for your company, or contact us and we will happily walk through the options over the phone or in-person.

This opportunity involves Michigan State University (MSU) developing and delivering the complete program in collaboration with the client. While this is the classic approach used by most schools, our approach is distinct because we build the program from the ground up to provide the level of customization that best fits your needs.

See below for full list of customizable options.

This opportunity involves both MSU and the company jointly delivering different topics within a program area. For example, MSU would deliver supply chain management, financial acumen, and risk management whereas the company leads the sessions on developing teams, and creating an environment supportive of the company’s vision.

See below for full list of customizable options.

For our customers that have multiple cohorts or send multiple people to programs over a number of years, we offer a set of advanced topics that build upon the core knowledge already gained. This approach expands the participants’ internal network and supports lifelong learning.

This is an opportunity to send a few people to an existing program. Participants gain knowledge and learn from participants representing a range of industries.

This is an opportunity to request a new topic(s) not currently offered. By choosing the topic and committing to a minimum number of participants, the participating company can help drive the curriculum. MSU will then promote the new course to other corporate partners to fill out the class.

This opportunity involves sending participants to one of the OE options above and then having a dedicated ‘bolt-on’ session just for your participants – allowing a deeper dive into more sensitive implementation discussions without other companies present.
