Mumbai to Michigan: SPJIMR students experience MSU

In 2024, Executive Development Programs welcomed 285 students from the No. 1 ranked private business school in India, S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research. Under the guidance of academic director Sriram Narayanan and program director Keith Bezant Niblett, the three-week immersion program took place in the AC Marriott and Hyatt House hotels near campus and included engaging discussions with more than 30 MSU faculty focusing on supply chain, information systems, marketing and finance.

The participants visited a number of local organizations and attractions on and off of MSU’s campus, including Ford Rouge Complex, Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation, MessageMakers, Meijer Distribution Centers, Abrams Planetarium, Facility for Rare Isotope Beams, Edward J. Minskoff Pavilion, Air Zoo Aerospace & Science Museum, Peckham Inc., Michigan State Capitol, MSU College of Agriculture & Natural Resources, Aptiv, Lear R&D and Auto Interior Production.

This event is part of a 12-year relationship with SPJIMR that has provided opportunities for research, student exchange, faculty semester-long residences and student cohort immersions.
