We are thrilled to announce Dr. Carl P. Borchgrevink as the permanent Director of The School of Hospitality Business in the Broad College. During the past year as interim director Carl launched several curricular and co-curricular initiatives, engaged in several initiatives with the Broad College, and has begun a robust outreach program. Making Carl permanent director of The School ensures that these initiatives will be carried out successfully and make a historically strong program even stronger and more relevant for the dynamic changes taking place in the industry.
Carl has also been named the John and Becky Duffey Faculty Fellow in Hospitality Business. This named endowed position recognizes Carl’s international reputation in hospitality business and his overall contributions in teaching, research and service, including his recent role as interim director.
