The Broad Enterprise Leadership Academy is a learning community for Broad graduate students to enhance their leadership effectiveness. The academy offers a variety of activities beyond the curriculum designed to develop leaders who make immediate and sustained impact on their organization and community.
Outcomes and recognition achieved through the Academy include:

The “RoadMap” template is designed to support learning and reflection during a student’s graduate program experience. Students utilize the form each semester to capture ideas and knowledge, and actions related to the courses taken. Students may then join the Board of Director sessions for sharing and discussion of the RoadMap in a supportive environment.
These sessions provide students with the opportunity to interact with students across all programs, sharing individual learning experiences as well as progress toward development goals.
The Broad Enterprise Leadership Academy Workshop sessions offer leadership training, tips, and tools. Topics will vary session-to-session. The hour-long virtual sessions are held quarterly.
Peer sessions create an opportunity for students to share progress, seek input, and create accountability on their individual leadership development.
Students will be offered the opportunity to participate in self-assessment surveys to help understand their individual behavioral tendencies.
Various virtual and in-person speaker events and networking opportunities, often featuring global leaders, will be offered.
Activities and content are offered virtually with some in-person events.
Most activities are live/synchronous with some recorded and posted to the community portal.
Students select which activities or events to participate in and track participation hours using the RoadMap template.
The schedule of activities and events will be posted to the Broad Enterprise Leadership Academy community portal. Students will gain access to the community once accepted into the program.
