Continuing a decade-long trend, the Broad College’s graduate supply chain program retains its No. 2 ranking in this year’s 2014 U.S. News & World Report ranking of graduate school programs. In addition, the graduate accounting program rose to 16th, up from 23rd last year. The international program also ranked 16th in the specialty rankings.
The Best Business Schools ranking placed the college overall at 43rd, up from 44th last year, and 19th among public universities.
The U.S. News ranking is based on three primary measures: quality assessment (what business school deans and recruiters think about the program), placement success (average starting salaries and employment rates), and student selectivity (GMAT, undergrad GPA, and acceptance rates). Specialty rankings are based solely on ratings from educators at peer schools. According to U.S. News methodology, 448 schools were considered for this year’s ranking.
