The Broad EMBA program placed No. 9 among U.S. public institutions, maintaining its position from 2024. Nationally, it rose to No. 20 among all U.S. programs, up from No. 22 last year and marking its best standing since 2020 (No. 17).
Graduates reported a 58% increase in salary, the program’s highest percentage gain since 2017, and an average salary of $186,420, the highest in Broad EMBA history.
The Broad EMBA showed one of its most notable gains in the Financial Times’ career progress metric, which assesses graduates’ advancement in seniority and company size after completing the program. Broad ranked at No. 11 among all U.S. programs and No. 6 among public institutions—its best showing in years.
The program also continued to receive recognition for scholarly impact. The FT Research Rank improved to No. 49 (from No. 52), reflecting faculty publication strength in top-tier, FT50 journals between January 2022 and May 2024. This metric carries significant weight in the ranking methodology, second only to salary outcomes, and underscores Broad’s emphasis on academic research that informs business practice.

International representation within the program also reached a recent high, with 12% of the 2024 incoming cohort composed of international students, the largest share since 2017. While national enrollment trends suggest this percentage may fluctuate in the coming years, the increase highlights the program’s continued global reach and appeal.
“Behind every data point are real people who’ve balanced work, family and school to reach the next level in their careers,” said Amy Joa, associate director of the EMBA program. “These rankings validate what we see every day — that our students and alumni are achieving measurable results. The increase in career progress and satisfaction speaks to the strength of the Broad EMBA experience and the way our community supports one another, long after graduation.”
