Scholars Ken Kohut and Parker Decraene joined by Katja Oklejas will attend the annual ENGAGE® Undergraduate Investment Conference held October 20-22 in Ann Arbor. The event is hosted by Michigan Interactive Investments at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. The program includes high profile speakers from firms including Apollo Global Management, Ariel Investments, BlackRock, Moelis & C0., and PJT Partners. The students will also compete in the conference’s stock pitch competition, testing their skills against 26 teams from several Big Ten universities, Carnegie Mellon, Emory, UT-Austin, Southern Cal and Berkeley among others.
The same trio of students heads to Cambridge, MA on Nov. 11 for the Harvard Financial Analysts Club’s annual stock pitch competition. To compete the students were first required to submit an investment memo and be selected from among a large pool of interested teams from across the country.
