Biography My research explores the emergence of leadership within social contexts, emphasizing the role of identity factors like gender, race, and personality traits. Within this focus, I study how these identity aspects influence the recognition and rise of leaders in group and team environments. Additionally, I adopt a social network perspective in exploring leadership emergence and work group inclusion.
Before coming to Michigan State University, I pursued my studies in psychology at the University of Central Florida, earning my degree with honors in 2021. During my time there, I engaged in research focusing on personality and interpersonal relationships within the Personality and Relationship Development/Dynamics (PRDD) laboratory. My academic journey also included participating in a research study during an internship at Florida International University.
