Lindsey is a first year Accounting PhD student. Prior to joining the PhD program in 2022, Lindsey worked as a senior manager in the Chicago Business Tax Services practice of KPMG and then spent four years with KPMG’s Tax Business School in Washington D.C. working with KPMG’s Washington National Tax Practice on developing tax technical content for firm training programs and instructing staff level trainings.
She received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Benedictine College and a Master of Accountancy from the University of Kansas. She is a licensed CPA in the state of Kansas.
Lindsey is an Accounting Doctoral Scholars fellow and her research interests include tax avoidance and uncertainty, financial reporting and disclosure, and tax policy.

When not thinking about taxes, she enjoys exploring new places, getting lost in a book, and obsessing over her dog.
