Biography
Aldas
P. Kriauciunas, Ph.D. is an Assistant Director of Executive Development
Programs (EDP) in the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State
University. He brings a rich background of experience including implementing manufacturing
quality improvement systems, administering foreign assistance programs (USAID
in Lithuania), strategic management faculty (Purdue University) and executive
director of EMBA, open enrollment, and custom programs (Purdue University). He
earned his Ph.D. in Corporate Strategy and International Business at the
University of Michigan and previously received his B.S. (Industrial &
Operations Engineering), M.S. (Industrial & Operations Engineering), and
MBA also from the University of Michigan.
Dr. Kriauciunas has published in Strategic Management Journal (SMJ),
Journal of International Business (JIBS), and Global Strategy Journal
(GSJ). He has presented at over 40 conferences and his areas of research
include organizational imprinting, dynamic capabilities, implementing change
and knowledge flows within a transitional economy context. He has a
comprehensive background in creating and teaching courses covering experiential
learning, consulting, business strategy, global strategy, and simulations that
provide participants with both analytical and managerial skills. Aldas has
extensive experience working cross culturally, teaching, living, and traveling
in countries across five continents.
In his spare time, Aldas enjoys travel, reading, yardwork and attending
concerts across a range of genres (70s and 80s rock, contemporary Christian,
country, and classical). When possible, he is joined by his wife and two adult
sons.
