Biography
Charles Nathanson is an A.J. Pasant Associate Professor of Finance and Insurance at the Eli Broad College of Business, Michigan State University. His research examines the financial side of housing markets, with a particular focus on speculation, return expectations, and the behavior of investors in real estate. He has published in journals including the Journal of Finance, Journal of Political Economy, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, and Journal of Urban Economics. Before joining MSU, he served on the faculty at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard University.
