Pam Mars

Pam Mars is an Associate Director in the Russell Palmer Career Management Center with the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University. Pam plays a strategic role on the graduate coaching team by facilitating career planning and management. She partners with MBA and MS students to develop competitive resumes, cover letters value propositions and LinkedIn profiles. Pam also develops and delivers strategic workshops to enhance students' competencies and help with lifelong career management.  

Pam engages employers who hire graduate level business students. She has extensive experience developing and maintaining corporate relationships. Pam collaborates with the MBA Admissions team by serving as an interviewer of prospective students and offering admissions recommendations. Pam has taught a section of BUS102, a careers class for freshmen in the Residential Business Community as well as several career management topics in MBA843, a careers class for MBA students. 

Prior to joining Michigan State University, Pam worked for Pepsi Cola in logistics and Production Tool Supply in an inventory management role. She received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Northwood University and achieved her PHR certification from the Society of Human Resource Management. Pam is also a certified resume writer from the Resume Writing Academy and is a certified MBA Career Coach (The Academies, Inc.) and Undergraduate Career Coach.
