Biography
Vernon Miller received his Ph.D. in
Speech Communication from The University of Texas at Austin. He is a Professor
in the Department of Management and the Department of Communication Michigan
State University. His research focuses on the communicative aspects of the
employment interview, organizational entry, and role negotiation, and large-scale
organizational change processes. His work appears in the Academy of Management
Review, Journal of Applied Communication Research, Management
Communication Quarterly, Human Communication Research, Communication
Monographs, Project Management Journal, International Journal of Project
Management, and Journal of Managerial Issues. His most recent book
collaboration is the Handbook of Organizational Communication Theory and
Research (DeGruyter, in progress). Dr. Miller is a former Associate Editor to Management
Communication Quarterly.
