The winner of the 2012 Broad Business Pitch Competition took first place at the national Student Startup Madness Tournament March 9.
TempoRun, an app that allows users to run at the perfect pace, was developed by Broad seniors Josh Leider (marketing) and Benny Ebert-Zavos (hospitality business) with computer science majors Phil Getzen and Adam Proschek. The students won $5,000 from Google Cloud Platform, which they’ll use to bring TempoRun to the iTunes market in mid-April.
