Leading Critical Discussion on Sustainability in the International Business Classroom

April 29, 2021

Join us for a webinar to explore perspectives from different parts of the World on how sustainability dimensions could be debated in International Business classes. In this webinar, we focus on stimulating students’ thinking about interconnectedness of economic, social, and environmental aspects in managerial decision-making and preparing students to apply broader considerations in their future career to address global challenges.

Key Take-aways:

  • Obtaining examples of how social (for instance, gender equality) and environmental issues interact influencing international business and its management. Through these examples, learning to discuss with students pro-sustainability business practices.
  • Through the examples of fishmeal and fish oil global supply chains, learning to lead the discussion about ironic situations that emerge from stakeholders’ sustainability concerns and situations in which stakeholders believe in the benefits of their actions that actually cause environmental harm.

This webinar is FREE and open to all, but registration is required. Zoom details will be sent to all registered participants
